Right, this sucks. Going for so many detours after school is gonna ruin me for good. I'm supposed to watch what I eat ayyyy (I'm gonna exceed 80kg soon!!!). But there are tons of temptations over at the west side. Bleah. I can cut my atm card into half so that I won't take out more cash. Or I can spend all my money on everythingelse but food. Yes, so which is gonna be worthwhile?
The former's too extreme and rather unrealistic. What if I need money for emergencies??? The latter's quite a credible idea, but what if people perceive me to be bloody materialistic??? Imagine me getting new stuffz endlessly. Yeah, cool. I can have my school bag changed every single month. Cool kan? Yeah right. It's not like I'm not doing it already ehz. I've a weakness for bags anyway. And anything rendered materialisticness enough. Ok, I'm horrible (and I admit, I really really really can't help it). I probably need rehab. But that's besides the point. I NEED ways and means to curb my spendings on food. It's getting soooo out of hand!
So I spent the second half of today with my cousin. It was supposed to be a study session but I didn't manage to study productively. What else is new? Hmmph. We ended up trying out the food at the cafe on the ground floor of MP library. The elastic bread-y chicken puff is yummy. Elastic coz they warm the thingy in a damn microwave. I thought that was bad enough (despite the yumminess). Not until they served us MICROWAVED chicken chunks. It's those frozen-meant-to-be-deep-fried ones okayyyy. And me and my cousin really really think that they served us the WRONG drink. So that's my so-called study session.
After which we headed for Popular. There's a new bookstore next to Popular now (apparently, stupid Popular decided to downgrade their MP outlet), the name's Harris. Haha. Tons of good books they have there and very very well-updated too. Remember that bmw book I saw at Borders? They have it there too, and one of them was opened for browsing. Turns out it's like bmw's milestones from the oldies to the newies. Very historical indeed. But I'm NOT interested at all. Kekeke. Ok, I got myself some of those plastic holders and a ruler and a couple of earphone "sponge" for my cousin. All from the small-en Pop.
Eh, G-shock bloody kurang ajar arh. They are going cheaper now. Cheat me like hell.
Uhhh ok. Next stop was PP. As usual. Zeroed in at Banquet (now you know what I mean when I say that I need to curb my spendings on food). Oh before that we bought a couple of servings of takoyaki. So, I had seafood hor fun and my cousin had her black carrot cake. Bumped into our uncle and his family there. Heh.
Then the walks begin. I just read from the magazine that a must have for women is a black v-neck cashmere sweater. The have something like that at M&S going at quite an incredible price. Then we just walked around, PP. Tons of people doing their shopping. I'm still looking for a decent pencil case. Annoying. I saw the purple sling bag at adidas. It doesn't look pretty anymore coz I saw yet another bag which is much better and was far cheaper than the slingbag. It even matches the colour of my watch ayyy. Haha.
